Mallorca is one of the most famous island in Mediterranean and a popular destination for tourism, but still preserve a natural jewel practically unspoiled and awarded World Heritage Status by Unesco since 2011:  Its mountain range called “Sierra de Tramuntana” running southwest–northeast which forms the northern backbone of Mallorca island.

Cumbres Travel has designed a walking tour with a perfect combination of easy walking, nature and beautiful quiet villages.

 

  • Day: 1 - Arrival to Mallorca

    Private minibus transfer to Port de Soller (about 1 hour)

  • Day: 2 - Walk to the Castell de Alaró. 5 hr walk. + 300m, - 500m

    Today we use a private bus to take us to the village of Orient and we walk from there to the Castell de Alaró. We have a picnic on the way.

  • Day: 3 - Walk to Deia. 5 hr walk. +300m, -200m

    Today we walk from the hotel to the Beach of Deia and after a swim to the lovely village of Deia where we take a transfer back to the hotel. We have a picnic on the way.

  • Day: 4 - Mirador of Ses Barcés to Cala Tuent beach and boat back. 6 hr walk, +650m, -650m.

    Today we will take a bus transfer to the Mirador of Ses Barcés and from there we walk down to the Beach of Cala de Tuent where after a swim we take a boat back to Puerto Soller and our hotel. Picnic on the way.

  • Day: 5 - Visiting Palma de Mallorca. Wonderful journey on the Soller Vintage Train

    In the morning enjoy the wonderful journey on the Soller Vintage Train through the beautiful Mallorcan countryside. Ever since 1912 the Sóller railway has been running a daily train service along the 27.3 km route between Palma de Mallorca and Sóller,. From 1913 it has also run the tram service along the 4.9 kilometres from Sóller and the Port of Sóller.

    Once we get Palma de Mallorca, We will have a cultural guided visit to Palma de Mallorca old quarter. In the afternoon/evening before our way back to Soller time for some free time for go strolling around the city or go shopping.

  • Day: 6 - Circular walk around Valldemosa. 5hrs walk, + 600m, -600m

    We take a bus to Valldemosa town to do a circular walk giving us the chance to walk on spectacular areas with lovely views of the sea and the coastline. Picnic on the way.

  • Day: 7 - Descent from the reservoir of Cuber to Soller. 5 hrs walk. +150m, -850m

    Today we start with a short transfer to the reservoir of Cuber to then surround it and walk up to the Coll de L-Ofre next to the peak of L’Ofre (1091 m) with its characteristic volcanic shape. Then we start an expectacular descent via the famous barranc de Biniaraix with its stone path with 1932 steps. If there is water caming down it is very impressive as you walk next to the falls. At the end the valley opens and get to the village of biniaraix and then to Soller where we take the Tram from Soller to Puerto de Soller where we have our hotel. Picnic on the way

  • Day: 8 - Return

    Private transfer from Puerto de Soller to Palma de Mallorca airport.
